Do not let fear stop you from being different from everyone.
Welcome to my first blog!
Oh my, I can't believe I'm actually starting a blog! Please let me know what your thoughts are at the end. I would love to hear from you and I am so excited for this new journey!

What Inspires You To Write?
These past few months, I have been wondering what to do with the gift that God has given me. Sometimes I feel like the Holy Spirit is talking to me to keep doing what I am doing. At the same time, I don't know what exactly it is that I should do. If you have been following me on social media, you might be familiar with my second account on Instagram that is faith-based where I openly share my faith with the public.
Recently, it has been hard for me to keep up with it because of the amount of school work I have to do. Yes,that is true, but that might be just an excuse. Honestly, there are times that I wonder whether I should keep writing because some people may not even care. But my heart feels heavy when I do nothing. What about that 10% that read my post whose heart may be inspired by my words? God has given me this knowledge and as a Christian, we shouldn't keep this on ourselves. It is our mission to share this with others so Heaven can multiply.
Sometimes when I feel like writing, the devil attacks me in a way that I start to doubt myself and I ended up not posting anything. This is exactly what the devil wants! He wants each of us to keep quiet so everyone will keep sinning and living a life with no purpose. He is trying to stop you because he knows there are blessings coming in your way.
Why am I doing this?
Why can't I live a life like my friends?
How am I supposed to share the Word with others?
We begin to question God and doubt ourselves. We have to recognize this so we can face the big obstacle knowing that we are created in the image of God whose identity is found in Him. He gave you unique abilities and skills and it is up to you to use it or hide it.
The Parable of the Talents
This story always comes to my mind whenever I feel like conforming to this world. The story in Matthew 25: 14-30 unfolds like this:
A man goes away on a trip. Before he leaves, he entrusts talents to his slaves. To one he gives five talents, to the second he gives two talents, and to the third he gives a single talent. The first two slaves double what was given to them and they give the original investment and their profit to their master when he returns. The third slave, however, buries his talent out in the field instead of trying to make a profit. When his master comes back, he returns only one talent and gains nothing. The master is pleased with the first two slaves, but he is dissatisfied with the third’s actions. He reprimands this slave and casts him out into the darkness.
24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.
Matthew 25: 24-25 ESV
I can reflect on the story as the third slave. We get too scared to face the world and instead of sharing the Word with others, we hide and conform to this world. God wants us to invest in this talent so we can be a blessing to others. He wants us to grow in our faith and He is reminding us that whatever we have in this world is not ours, but His.
29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 25: 29-30 ESV
Let us put what God has given to us in good use, so that we may grow in deeper understanding of Him .So then one day when He returns, He can say to you,
"Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master." Matthew 25:20
So what inspires me to write?
I write because my love for Jesus cannot be contained in a small place in my heart. His love is so overwhelming that I begin to write words, just like this one, without really thinking so much about it. I just let my thoughts flow and I just see where it brings me. I want to share and inspire others so they may become aware that loving God is not something to be ashamed of and to be quiet about. Let us be loud so Heaven will roar with praise! Let us follow the example of the other two servants who trusted God and invested themselves in multiplying the blessings that were entrusted to them.
You are here because you have a purpose to fill in. Someone out there is waiting for you to use your talent. Be the bridge of faith so they may see the goodness of God.
